Ali Taberham 5/02/2018 9:28 AMI started reading a book for leisure coming out of finals and I'm so excited to embrace more simple living once school is over. -
Ali Taberham 4/25/2018 12:21 AMI am limiting myself to checking social media twice a day to avoid scrolling out of habit and looking on my phone. This is something I really want to work on and think will improve my days by milestones! -
Ali Taberham 4/24/2018 9:40 AMThis morning I took my own coffee mug to a local coffee shop instead of going to a chain and using a paper one!-
Michelle Picca 4/29/2018 12:22 AMNice! Little things like this add up and make a difference!

Ali Taberham 4/17/2018 10:12 AMI'm trying to make more time for simple pleasures like taking walks, sitting outside, writing, reading, etc. I'm trying to work on limiting my screen time and it's pretty amazing how much better these activities are than scrolling through news feeds. Of course I've always known this, but it's interesting how addressing habits helps to change them.-
Michelle Picca 4/17/2018 9:03 PMI've been incorporating more walks instead of driving. I love it because it has given me the opportunity to admire nature more! -
Rima Antous 4/17/2018 4:43 PMSo true! definitely something that I know I can incorporate more into my life.

Ali Taberham 4/09/2018 10:42 PMMy friends from Australia came to visit this weekend and they didn't realize it cost to buy plastic bags here when we went grocery shopping. I was explaining why to them and what I've learned about sustainability here, and they were very receptive. It was cool to see an interested reaction from people who don't know a lot about it and haven't really been impacted before. -
Ali Taberham 3/13/2018 10:10 PMI traveled to Mexico this spring break and the water was so blue, it was great to be outside enjoying God's creation. I also had friends visit San Diego and they were in awe of everything here. It was a great reminder of the beautiful place we live in. -
Ali Taberham 2/28/2018 2:24 PMI lost my water bottle yesterday, and find when I don't have a bottle don't drink nearly enough water. Instead of buying a plastic bottle and whilst trying to find my water bottle, I brought a big mason jar from home to refill during the day instead. -
Ali Taberham 2/27/2018 10:42 AMAlthough I have reusable bags, I would often forget them when taking trips to the grocery store. I have been making a conscious effort to have them in my car before leaving. -
Ali Taberham 2/21/2018 3:06 PMI had to go downtown for a school event this past weekend and took transit instead of driving to avoid parking!-
