As the semester comes to a close, I am trying to make the sustainable practices that I had adopted become more habitual!

I have been trying to wash out any disposable containers I use before recycling them! I learned that if you recycle a container that has food remains, then it could spoil the whole bin of recycle-ables, sending it all to the landfill!

Today, I emailed SDGE to see if they have a job opening to work in their innovation center! I think it would be cool to learn more about what they do and how they are pioneering for the future of energy!

I definitely have been struggling lately to reduce waste especially in moments where I am finding myself very busy and constantly moving from one thing to another on campus, but it is very important to remember that every act of mindfulness makes a big difference.

I feel ya, dairy was so hard for me to cut out at first but after a while it became super easy! There are some really good non-dairy cheeses out there that taste amazing! At Sprouts you can find some good almond cheese, cashew cheese, vegan mozzarella, etc.!
