Welcome to the Campus EcoChallenge

Campus EcoChallenge gives you the tools and inspiration to create change and contribute to a sustainable future. Join the Challenge with a class, team up with other students from your campus, or compete against other schools while you take action on the issues that you care about during the Campus EcoChallenge.

How It Works

Common wisdom says it takes at least two weeks to change a habit: if you stick with a new behavior for 14 days in a row, you’re a lot more likely to keep it up for good. While taking action on issues that matter to you, you'll share your progress and earn points for reaching your goals. The combination of collective action, camaraderie and friendly competition makes changing the world a little easier — and a lot more fun. And, you'll learn more about tangible ways to address the big environmental challenges of our time.

The Campus EcoChallenge is open throughout the 2017/18 academic year. Explore last year's impact.

Pricing for the Campus EcoChallenge is $5/participant when offered in conjunction with an NWEI course book, or $10/participant as a stand-alone program. Contact [email protected] if you're interested in finding out about large group discounts.

Discover Change, Together.

We believe the solution to the planet’s biggest challenges lies in the power of collective action.

EcoChallenge gives you the tools and inspiration to reduce your impact on the planet and contribute to a healthy, vibrant, and sustainable future — while actively learning and having fun in the process.

Campus EcoChallenge is open to high school and college students everywhere. In the last year, over 10,000 people from 25 countries have taken part in NWEI EcoChallenge events, and we'd love to count your school amongst the ranks of EcoChallengers!
