christian glotfelty 4/11/2018 3:16 PMThis week I went back to the OB vegetarian cafe when house sitting down in OB. I tried one of their smoothies and I was honestly very surprised on the taste! I also felt very good and energetic the rest of the day as well. -
christian glotfelty 4/04/2018 11:33 AMWith the weather changing a little Ramona has started to be a little warmer. I have been trying to change it up by just opening my house up and creating a breeze instead of running the A/C. -
christian glotfelty 3/31/2018 11:35 AMI think the highlight of this week would have to be going out to eat with the class. I really liked their many different uses of jack fruit, especially their jack fruit teriyaki bowl. I have seen jack fruit used for pulled pork, but never with teriyaki flavoring, very creative!-
Harry Watkins 4/02/2018 1:05 PMYes, it was fun! The cafe still has some bugs to work out in their process, but is a cool space.

christian glotfelty 2/28/2018 11:35 AMHad a great pulled pork style sandwich on Monday made from Jack Fruit! -
christian glotfelty 2/21/2018 11:52 AMStill following the meatless monday routine and this last week I had half of a veggie sandwich prior to hiking iron mountain and then ate the other half at the top. It was nice to be able to eat a solid meal and still feel lite enough to hike. -
christian glotfelty 2/13/2018 8:44 PMThis weekend I went down to the Ocean Beach people's mart and bought some locally grown fruits/veggies. -
christian glotfelty 2/07/2018 11:12 AMThis week I tried to focus on energy efficient type actions. I made sure to focus on keeping the lights off and the a/c use to a minimum. -
christian glotfelty 1/31/2018 12:48 PMThis week I tried to focus on my exercise a little more and hiked iron mountain one of days. It was very nice to get out and see a beautiful view! -
christian glotfelty 1/23/2018 3:36 PMThis week I participated in "Meatless Mondays" with my girlfriends family. It was very successful and I was very surprised how easy it was. I felt that breakfast and lunch were very easy to follow the meatless guideline. Dinner however would be a tad more difficult for me to follow consistently. My girlfriend's dad made some delicious portobello mushroom tacos and I was excited to find that the meatless factor of the tacos didn't have a huge impact on the taste. Overall, I really enjoyed meatless Monday!-
Harry Watkins 1/28/2018 12:04 PMOutstanding, Christian! Forks over Knives www.forksoverknives.com has some awesome recipes.

christian glotfelty 1/17/2018 3:11 PMReposting for new team:
Some things I really focused on this week is shortening my showers. One thing I always do is brush my teeth in the shower and this week I have changed that habit. Now I brush my teeth after my shower and make sure to not run the water while I'm brushing my teeth. Another focus of mine has been to only use reusable cutlery, mugs, and water bottles. All in all I didn't find it too hard to make these adjustments and it felt good being environmentally conscious.
