In my house we have been reusing plastic bags as trash bags for our recycle trash, this way we are not using more plastic and the plastic bags we already have are being recycled.

My roommates continue to throw plastic into the garbage and not recycle, I am trying to help them build habits of throwing recyclable things in the recycle trash and know what things are recyclable and what things are not

I cut out sugar for the last week and it was great! Also tried to take as many processed foods out of my diet as possible, but found that that was not super easy.

The challenge has been going well. The other night I had to talk to my roommates because there were around four plastic bags and a big piece of styrofoam that were not in the recycle trash. One of them said they did not throw it in the recycle because the trash was a little dirty. so I could him all you have to do is give it a quick rinse and throw it in the recycle.

I have been having to car pool the last few days due to a flat tire. It has made me realize how much I could be carpooling throughout the week.
