I routed out my commute to work via public transportation.. I haven't actually taken it yet but it was a big step to consider it!

The Wear Justice event was so fun! Everything came together so perfectly and it was nice to see so many familiar and new faces supporting such an awesome cause.

I have been more conscious of what I'm throwing away and recycling. I always forget to recycle and I always forget that paper towels aren't recyclable! :(

I have been walking more and more everyday, even though it's flipping cold in San Diego right now! I park pretty far away from work and get in the extra steps.

I forgot my reusable bags when I went grocery shopping, but I had my giant purse so I stuffed everything in that rather than getting bags from Trader Joes.

I've been trying to stick to buying organic, locally sourced produce at the grocery store and it's a lot harder than I anticipated

I have been buying organic for a while now, but this class has challenged me to buy local organic, and I am quickly realizing how difficult that is. A lot of food, organic or not, is imported. this makes it difficult to find locally grown produce.

I've been bringing my own mug and hydro flask to work so that I'm not wasting paper and plastic cups. I have also been making sure that efforts to recycle are being kept up with at my work!
