Ali Taberham 5/02/2018 9:28 AMI started reading a book for leisure coming out of finals and I'm so excited to embrace more simple living once school is over. -
Sarah Gorman 4/29/2018 8:12 PMgood luck on finals everyone!! im personally trying not to eat out this week -
Michelle Picca 4/29/2018 12:20 AMThis past week I got to hang out with some adorable bunnies! I suggest everyone spend more time researching the products they use and seeing if they're cruelty free. It saddens me to know that a lot of our cosmetic and household products are tested on animals like the one in this picture. The consumer, aka you, play a role by embracing compassion with your purchases! -
Rima Antous 4/28/2018 9:50 PMit has been a great semester challenging myself and furthering my awareness on ways I can cut down waste in my life and conserve energy. -

Corrine Lemon 4/25/2018 10:24 AMMy challenges definitely were hard at first. Now I have better habits as a result. I eat way more vegetables and less junk food. This is all in an attempt to eat less meat and avoid things with palm oils. I still could do better at avoiding meats or dairy though still. I also find myself still occasionally taking long showers once or twice a week. Though I have significantly cut down on my water usage otherwise.
I have found that I drive my roommates a little insane when I get on them for leaving lights on or not recycling. Though I think my influence is making them slightly more aware of their actions as well. I'm not sure they'll never get enthused by composting. I try to use what I learned in this class to explain to them why I'm trying to make changes. I haven't exactly found "common ground" with them all but I'm getting there. I still got a week in a half of living with them so maybe I'll figure it out.
I know I still got a lot to improve on but I know I took this class for a little sustainability "push". Hopefully I'll keep improving my lifestyle from the momentum I was given out of the class.

Ali Taberham 4/25/2018 12:21 AMI am limiting myself to checking social media twice a day to avoid scrolling out of habit and looking on my phone. This is something I really want to work on and think will improve my days by milestones! -
Katie Hibbard 4/24/2018 7:59 PMI found out that you can throw meat scraps and dairy in the compost except I don't think I will because the smell may just be wicked.
